1. Cooling system:
Location of radiator: When installing the unit, the radiator should be placed as close as possible to the exhaust outlet to prevent the recirculation of hot air. When there is no airway, the distance between the radiator and the exhaust outlet should not exceed 150 millimeters.
Exhaust outlet area: The area of the exhaust outlet should be 1.5 times the exhaust area of the radiator, usually requiring the installation of air ducts and exhaust louvers in conjunction with the radiator.
Duct design: The bending of ducts should be done through appropriate bends, and if the pipeline is too long, the size should be increased to reduce exhaust back pressure. Long distance air duct mufflers should be specially designed according to the characteristics of the building.
Air inlet area: The air inlet and outlet of buildings are usually equipped with louvers and grilles. When calculating the size of the air outlet, the effective ventilation area of the louvers and grilles should be considered. The total area of the air inlet should be at least twice the heat dissipation area of the unit to prevent rainwater from entering.
2. Ventilation system:
Air doors or louvers: Air doors or louvers serve to isolate the computer room from the surrounding environment, and their opening and closing operations should be controlled by the operating status of the unit.

Therefore, keep the ventilation area unobstructed and avoid installing the generator set indoors with poor ventilation and narrow space.
Lightning and rain protection: In summer, it is rainy and lightning strikes are frequent. Lightning protection work must be done at the installation location of the unit, and the lightning protection ground wire must be connected according to engineering standards to prevent lightning strikes from causing damage to the unit.
Anti electric shock: When using diesel generator sets, the generator sets should be interlocked with the external power supply, and switching devices or dual power distribution boxes should be installed. Parallel operation is strictly prohibited. After the work is completed, the power supply of the equipment should be cut off to prevent electric shock accidents.
Cleaning and maintenance: In summer, attention should be paid to timely cleaning and maintenance of diesel generator sets, especially ventilation openings and parts that are prone to heating. Long term use can cause dust accumulation in the ventilation openings, affecting the ventilation and cooling of the unit. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the ventilation openings and maintain comprehensive maintenance.
